Of what would become
The beginning of our days
As husband and wife
Twenty-eight years hence
Some blood
Much sweet sweat
Our share of tears
Enjoying and battling
What life offered us
Here we remain
Another year lived together
Ups, downs, ins, and outs
And all around town
Two people still in search
