If you're serious about your acting career then Improv is a MUST. Learn improvisation within the framework of The Kalmenson Method. Improv is essential for both actors aiming to enhance their voice-over skills across commercial, animation, and gaming sectors, as well as those performing on stage and on-camera.
- Improvisation as a rehearsal technique and auditioning tool.
- How Improv expands your understanding of your role and helps you avoid disaster.
- Explore yourself and your acting craft through guided lessons.
- Be able to create lead ins and outs for scenes, create off-camera scenes that may become on-camera scenes, and to fill in specifics left out by a writer.
- Using improvisation to explore the TRUTHFUL and unique needs of battle exertions in game and film/TV work
- Hone your VO improvisation skills working out with VO improv exercises and challenges.
- Using improvisation and environment to inform character, proximity, and emotion in theatrical, in-game cutscenes and dramatic copy.
- The importance of environment and physical adaptation in motion capture
- Practice with scripts, applying character development based on character art and description.
- Exploring Improvisation to experience group walla and the unique challenges associated with film and TV looping.
