Prerequisite: Completion of Foundations
This class provides the aspiring voice over actor with a brief review of principles with a high level series of refinements and rigorous workouts. Highly recommended to take shortly after completion of Level 1.
Class goals are for students to:
- Advance your application of the Kalmenson Method through intensive monologue and dialogue work.
- Explore advanced performance refinements through Harvey Kalmenson’s audio lectures and guided exercises.
- Strengthen your ability to execute multiple attitude transitions in monologue and dialogue.
- Refine your voice-over signature, adapt it to current trends and expand its range.
- Develop a flexible approach to tags through lecture, analysis and performance.
- Strengthen the self-direction skills essential to today’s voice-over audition process.
- Practice dialogue both with scene partners and solo, as commonly required in self-recorded auditions.
- Gain confidence through a simulated remote booking and directed workout with a K&K guest director.
- Develop a personalized VO Action Plan that identifies your goals, practical next steps and strategies for continued professional development.

Class Size: 10 student maximum
Cycles: 4 consecutive weeks
Class Length: Class length may vary based on size. If the class only has 5 students enrolled it will be a 2-hour class.
